h Keep handles and grips dry, clean,
and free from oil and grease.
Slippery handles and grips do not
enable safe handling and control of
the power tool in the event of unex-
pected situations.
5 Service
a Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
b To avoid hazards, damaged power
leads must be replaced by the manu-
facturer or his customer service repre-
sentative.
6 – Safety instructions relat-
ing specifically to the
equipment
• Hold the tool by the insulated han-
dle surfaces only when carrying out
tasks during which is it possible
that the tools will come across hid-
den power cables or its own cable.
Contact with a power-carrying cable
can also put metal parts of the unit
under power and cause an electric
shock.
• Fasten and secure the workpiece to a
stable base using clamps or other
means. If you hold the workpiece only
with your hand or against your body, it
will remain unstable, which can lead
to loss of control.
• Only use sharp saw blades that are in
perfect condition. Cracked, bent or
dull saw blades should be replaced
immediately.

• Materials containing asbestos may not
be processed. When working with any
other materials containing fibres, use
dust protection masks and extraction
systems.
• If you wish to use the device out-
doors, ensure it is connected via a
residual current circuit breaker. The
extension cable and plug must be
designated for use outdoors.
• Do not break the saw blade by press-
ing on the sides.
• Secure the workpiece using clamping
mechanisms to prevent it from slip-
ping.
• Make sure that cables always lead
away from the rear of the workplace.
• When operating the device, always
guide it with both hands and ensure
that you are standing sturdily.
• The device may not be damp and may
not be used in a damp environment.
• Prior to each use, check the device,
cable and plug. Have any damages
eliminated by a specialist. Only plug
the plug into the socket when the tool
