The hinge locking pin with cross-shaped knob must always be fully
tightened whenever the machine is in operation.
To turn the blow pipe, the lock is to be rotated a quarter turn. (See photo below) The
blow bend can then be set to the position desired (5 positions). When the pipe is in its
proper position, the lock must be set back to its former position. Ensure the lock falls
into the hole.
If necessary, slightly wriggle the bend until the locking pin falls into the right hole.
Never do this while the machine is running, and before starting the machine make
sure that the material to be blown out of the vacuum machine does not present any
danger to anyone.

Starting the machine
The leaf vacuum machine must never be switched on without the suction
hose and the blow bend having been fitted.
Ensure the cross-shaped knob has been fully tightened. Once you have made sure
that the material to be sucked up can be blown out safely, you start the suction
operation as follows:
-
Put the flow directing flap of the blow bend in the correct position.
-
Gradually engage the PTO shaft until reaching the maximum allowable speed.
-
Ensure that the suction hose can always take in enough air, and dose the
amount of material to be sucked up in such a way that it is taken along in a
regular flow.
Start by moving the funnel slowly for some time so as to familiarize yourself
with the leaf vacuum machine. Adapt your speed to your experience with
the material to be sucked up.
