The unit starts scan tuning when – 1¿ or ÷1 + is held down (see "Scan

tuning", page 20).
The frequency changes rapidly when ¿ or ÷ is held down, and stops
•
when released. In the AM bands (MW, SW, and LW), the unit scans
continuously in the range of 150 to 29,999 kHz.
Frequency range of the bands/meter bands
The short wave range is divided into 14 bands that are generally
referred to as "meter bands".
