Step 2. Remove the rear.
Step 3. Remove the bulb by
turning it counterclockwise
then pulling it away from the
pump. Then gently remove
the UV bulb assembly
straight out by gently pulling
the cable connecting the
bulb to the pump. Clean the
inside of the light housing
with warm water to clear
out any debris. If you do
not need to replace the UV
bulb, skip to step 5.
Step 4. Clean the exterior
of the UV glass tube with
warm water. Do not remove
the UV Tube while cleaning.
If you do not need to
replace the UV bulb, skip to step 6.
Step 5. To replace the UV bulb, gently remove the glass tube
by pulling straight apart by holding the base of the lamp. Gently
pull the bulb straight off of the bulb socket and insert the
replacement bulb carefully as to not bend the wires at the stem
of the bulb. Gently reassemble.
Step 6. Reassemble all of the components before reconnecting
to the power source
TROUBLESHOOTING
F THE PUMP FAILS TO OPERATE:
I
• Check to make sure the power cord is plugged in; the pump is
getting power.
• Check the pump outlet and any tubing, nozzles, spitters etc. for
kinks or obstructions.
• Remove the front cover and/or pump cover, and impeller cover
to expose the impeller. Turn the impeller to ensure that it is not
broken or jammed.
