TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE
1. Diameter of garden hose is too
small.
2. Water supply is restricted.
3. Not enough inlet water.
4. Wrong nozzle is attached.
5. Engine throttle lever not in the
maximum position.
6. Pressure adjustment handle not
set in the maximum position.
1. Low pressure nozzle installed.
2. Inadequate water supply.
3. Spray wand leaks.
4. Nozzle is clogged.
5. Pump is faulty.
6. Air in line.
1. Pump is not primed.
1. Air leak in suction hose or inlet.
2. Clogged suction strainer.
1. Cavitation or sucking air.
2. Pulley loose on crankshaft.
3. Broken or worn bearing.
SOLUTION
1. Replace with 3/4 in. garden hose.
2. Check garden hose for kinks, leaks,
and blockages.
3. Open water source full force.
4. Attach the high pressure nozzle.
5. Open throttle completely.
6. Turn the handle to the maximum
pressure.
1. Replace with high pressure nozzle.
2. Provide adequate water flow.
3. Replace wand.
4. Clean nozzle.
5. Contact authorized service center.
6. Squeeze trigger on spray wand to
remove air from line.
1. Flood suction then restart pump.
1. Remove suction line and inspect it
for a loose liner or debris lodged in
hose. Avoid all unnecessary bends.
Do not kink hose.
