PROBlEM
Tool will not start.
Reduced Power.
The bit does not rotate.
The bit cannot be released.
Tool shuts off abruptly.
Battery pack will not charge. Battery pack not inserted into charger.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

BE sURE TO FOllOW sAFETY RUlEs AnD insTRUCTiOns
POssiBlE CAUsE
Battery pack not installed properly.
Battery pack not charged.
Internal componets too hot.
Battery has low state of charge.
The mode selector dial is not correctly engaged, or is set
to "Hammering Only".
The chuck is not pulled back fully.
Battery pack has reached its maximum thermal limit.
Out of charge. (To maximize the life of the battery
pack it is designed to shut off abruptly when the
charge is depleted.)
Charger not plugged in.
Surrounding air temperature too hot or too cold.
sOlUTiOn
Check battery pack installation.
Check battery pack charging requirements.
Allow tool to cool down.
Replace with fresh battery pack.
Rotate the mode selector dial to "Rotary Hammering". Refer to
Operation Modes.
Pull the chuck back as far as it will go and remove the bit. Refer
to To Insert a Drill Bit or Other Accessory.
Allow battery pack to cool down.
Place on charger and allow to charge.
Insert battery pack into charger until LED illuminates.
Plug charger into a working outlet. Refer to Important
Charging Notes for more details.
Move charger and battery pack to a surrounding air temperature
of approximately 65 °F – 75 °F (18 °C– 24 °C).
