the screw removed, the adjustment wheel can easily be pulled out
towards you. CAUTION: Take care that the click wheel does not pop
out. Now insert the ALPINA RUN SYSTEM CLASSIC LIGHT in place
of the adjustment wheel and go back through the above steps in
reverse order (fig. 1). Before using the light for the first time you
have to remove the security film with the word "PULL" marked in
red. The film is there to ensure that the battery is fully charged on
delivery. This film can simply be pulled out. The light is switched
on and off by pressing on the cover plate and offers a number of
different functions (figs. 2–5). Press once to turn the light on; the
red light is lit continuously. Press twice to put the light into flash
mode. Press a third time to deactivate the light. Please note that the
battery of the LED rear light can fail or become drained. You should
therefore check regularly that the light is working. Parents should
also ensure that their children regularly check the functionality of
their LED rear light. The LED rear light is not a toy and should not be
used by children except under the supervision of an adult. Symbols

the outer rim of the light to detach it (fig. 6). Now you can lift off the
cover of the light to access the circuit board (fig. 7 and 8). Remove
the circuit board. The battery is located on the reverse side of the
circuit board (fig. 9). You can now slide it out. Only use replacement
batteries of type CR 2032 3V (fig. 13). This battery is commonly
available and can be purchased from any good electrical appliance
