Note: For a higher safety level, reduce the minimum measurement of the detected depth by at least 1 cm.
OPERATION
Battery replacement
Use a 9 V battery
Insert the supplied battery in the battery compartment (10). Pay
attention to respect the correct polarity.
If the instrument is not used for a long period of time, the battery
must be removed to prevent it from corroding or discharging.
Switching On / Off
Before switching on the instrument, make sure that there is no
humidity in the sensor area "8"; if necessary, clean the instru-

ment with a dry cloth.
If the measuring tool was subject to an extreme temperature
change, allow it to adjust to the ambient temperature before
switching on.
To switch the instrument on, press the power button (6) for 5
seconds.
After a short test the detector enters the ready to run state. By
default the tool enters the metal detection mode.
If there is no metallic interference, but the buzzer emits a con-
tinuous "dididi" sound and the red light (1) flashes constantly, it
means that the instrument needs calibration.
