2.1 Determining the position of the CTx
Determine the position of the CTx by paying
attention to:
The regulations of the country in which it is to be
•
installed with regards to the position of electric
devices in special areas (showers, swimming
pools, etc.).
The indications in chapter 1.2, that refer to
•
versions with different power supply voltages.
Decide on the position by also taking into
•
consideration the path of the connection cables.
See chapter 3 for information on connections.
2.2 Mounting to wall
Remove the protection case by unscrewing the
•
three screws as indicated in Fig. 3 (only for the
version 100-240Vac).
Fasten the CTx via the 4 holes at the bottom, as
•
indicated in Fig. 4. Make sure the device is
fastened vertically to guarantee the proper
functioning when coins are
Proceed with the electrical connections as
•
indicated in chapter 3.
Replace the protection case as indicated in Fig.
•
3 (only for the version 100-240Vac).

WARNING: Make sure the CTx is installed
by
a
qualified
compliance with the regulations in effect
in the country where installation takes
place.
The cables entering the CTx and the relay
unit through the appropriate grommets
(Fig. 4) must be double isolation cables.
To access the connection terminals, the protection
case must be removed by unscrewing the 3 screws
as indicated in Fig. 3 (only for the version 100-
240Vac).
The circuits are as follows :
3.1 The protection conductor circuit (PE)
for grounding
The protection conductor (PE) for grounding must
not have a cross section inferior to that of the other
conductors entering the CTx.
C onnect the grounding conductor to the appropriate
ring terminal provided, as indicated in Fig. 5 and
Fig. 7 . The terminal provided is suitable for cables
with cross sections of 2.5–6 mm
