These assembly instructions describe how to fit the BASE-STATION 1 NG wall
mounting. The wall mounting is an accessory for the following portable systems:
- LIFE-BASE 1 NG
- LIFE-BASE 1 NG XL
- LIFE-BASE 1 NG XS
Read the instructions for use for these portable systems (WM 67060), they
constitute part of these assembly instructions.
The scope of supply includes the parts required to attach the wall mounting
to the wall. Using additional attachment sets, you can also fit the wall
mounting to a standard hospital rail (attachment set WM 15805) or to an
ordinary rail (attachment set WM 15806). The relevant assembly instructions
describe how to assemble the attachment sets.

Safety information

Warning!
• Only the LIFE-BASE 1 NG/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XL/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XS
portable system may be suspended from the wall mounting.
The weight and dimensions of this portable system are exactly
matched to the wall mounting. Other portable systems may
not be used.
• Suspending third-party products or other makes of adapter is
not permitted as this does not comply with the use in accor-
dance with purpose of this wall mounting. Refer to the instruc-
tions for use of the LIFE-BASE 1 NG/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XL/
LIFE-BASE 1 NG XS portable system.
Note
• The surface for attachment must be sufficiently strong to hold the
wall mounting and the portable system securely in accordance with
DIN EN 1789 (ambulances) and/or RTCA DO 160E.
• The charger interface connection (optional) to the 12V on-board
electricity supply must be fused with an 8A fuse.
• The wall mounting has been tested exclusively with M5 mounting
screws to EN ISO 4762 (strength 8.8). If other screws are used,
ensure that they are of equivalent or greater strength.
• The fitter is responsible for the fitting of the wall mounting.
