• Do not unplug the shredder
by the cable. Keep the cable
away from heat, oil and sharp
edges.

Assembling the shredder

Slide the axle (12) into the chas-
sis (6).
Place the two spacer sleeves
(13) and two wheels (5) onto the
axis (12) of the chassis (6) in
the order shown. Now position
the washers (14) on the axis
and screw the locknut (15) onto
the axis using the spanner (17).
Insert the Allen key (18) into the
hole in the centre of the axis
(12) to hold in place. This pre-
vents the axis (12) from turning
as well.
Clip the wheel covers (16) onto
the wheels.
Place the shredder on the hop-
C
per (1). Push the chassis (6)
onto the 4 studs of the shred-
der. Fasten the chassis with the
enclosed locknuts (15).
Operation
Start-up
Check that the mains voltage mat-
ches the rating on the name plate.

Switching the shredder on
and off
Make a loop at the end
of the extension cable
and hang the loop onto
the strain relief (19) on the
mains cable (7).

Connect the extension cable. Make
sure that the funnel feeder is empty.
1. Set the On/Off switch (8) to turn on
the unit.
Place your chopping material in the fill
hopper. The material is drawn in and
chopped.
2. To switch off, press the "O" button on
the on/off switch (8).
The shredder will continue to run im-
mediately after switching off.
Emptying the collection bag
Avoid filling the collection bag too
much. Mind that the bag will une-
venly fill under the discharge duct!
1. Turn off the unit.
2. Remove and empty the collection bag
(4).
Overload protection
In the event of overload, e.g. due to
branches that are too thick, the equip-
ment automatically switches off.
To restart, allow the device to cool down
and press the overload protection button
(9). You can then switch on the device as
usual.
