10. Cleaning and maintaining the appliance

liquids. Do not spray the appliance with water.
Always remove the plug before cleaning or
maintaining the appliance and secure it against
accidental switch-on by removing the safety key.

the appliance is unplugged and secured against
accidental switch-on.
Wear work gloves when cleaning and
maintaining the desired cutting blade.
ATTENTION!
Possible appliance damage.
Do not clean the cutting tools under running water
or with a high-pressure cleaner.
Clean the appliance after every use, as dried grass and cutting residue are
difficult to remove.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as these could damage the surfaces of
the appliance.
Clean the appliance and the cutting tools with a cloth or a soft brush.
Lubricate the cutting tool after every use and the blade drive after an extended
period of storage or intensive use of the appliance.
