5 Operation and handling
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages.
► Do not let the Device unsupervised during operation to be able to react quickly in case
of dangers.

5.1 How to use

► The appliance has a touch key that can only be switched on; it switches off
automatically.
► To reduce the risk of injury, do not drape cord over the counter top or table top where it
can be pulled by children or triple over unintentionally.
With the milk frother you can make cold as well as warm milk froth.
The appliance has got three markings for the filling:
MIN: Fill milk at least up to that marking
MAX FROTH: Fill milk up to that maximum marking to make milk froth.
MAX MILK: When you want to heat milk but not froth it, you can fill milk up to that
maximum marking.
► Please note the maximum froth markings. Please use for milk froth only the MAX
FROTH marking. Otherwise so much foam will be made that the lid would lift and milk
would overflow.
Warm milk froth
1. Please put the whisk for frothing into the lid holder.
2. Switch on the power button.
3. The power button lights red. This is the setting to make warm milk froth.
4. The appliance starts to make milk foam and stops automatically as soon as the foam is
finished.
