5. Inspection and
maintenance
DANGER!
Compressed air!
Risk of serious or even fatal injury from
contact with quickly or suddenly escap-
ing compressed air, or from bursting plant
components. Preventive action:
• Only carry out installation and mainte-
nance work when the system is depres-
surized.
• Avoid sudden and quick opening of
shut-off devices!
• Make sure that no persons or objects
can be damaged by escaping com-
pressed air or condensate.
• When removing components, clean
them immediately to remove all medi-
um residue.

5.1 Cleaning/decontamination
Clean the DRYPOINT
damp (not wet) cotton cloth or a disposa-
ble wipe and a mild commercial detergent.
For decontamination, spray detergent
onto a cotton cloth or disposable wipe and
wipe all components clean. Dry with a
clean cloth or let dry by air.
Strictly adhere to the applicable statutory
hygiene regulations.

Risk of damage
Excessive moisture and pointed or sharp
implements can cause damage to the

Preventive action:
• Never clean the device with a wet cloth.
• Do not use pointed or sharp implements
for cleaning.
