6.1 BATTERY INSTALLATION

The battery compartment is located in the rear part
of the solution tank (Photo 9) and to access it is ne-
cessary to open the locking door (Photo 9 - A);
to allow the opening of the door disconnect the the
squeegee lifting cable (Photo 9 - B);
to open the door, lift it up and turn it down, until the
brackets stand on the floor, as shown in Photo 10.
Place the batteries on the door plain and make the
connection as described in paragraph 6.1.1; after
the battery connection, push them inside the bat-
tery compartment (Photo 11), close the door and
reconnect the squeegee lifting cable.

6.1.1 BATTERY CONNECTION

Place the general ON/OFF switch ( Photo 4 - H ) in
the OFF position as well as motors switches on the
control panel. ( Photo 6 ) ( Photo 7 ).

( ) Attach the wiring to the batteries, con-
necting the terminals exactly and only to the
poles marked with the same symbol (red
wiring "+", black wiring "-") according to
the wiring diagram shown in photo 12
!
( ) A short circuit of batteries can cause ex-
plosions!
