Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning and maintenance.
•
If you are not going to use the appliance for an extended period of time wipe off any dust
•
to keep it in neat condition for the next time you wish to use it and keep it in its original
packaging in a dry cool place away from direct sunlight.
Before using it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure the fan is clear
•
and the blades turns freely (with the device unplugged) and are not stuck.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids for clearing.
•
Do not clean the appliance with alcohol or any solvent cleaning products.
•
Remove the water tank and clean it with lukewarm water. Make sure it's completely dry
•
before reassembling it in the main unit. To drain the water out, place a container
underneath the water drain, open the drain cover and remove the silica gel plug and let
the remaining water drain out.
Clean the tank every 2-3 weeks and the humidifying base once a week.
•
When cleaning, remove the humidifying base by pulling firmly from the atomizing barrel.
•
Take the atomization barrel out and wash all parts with clean water.
Annually clean the fan and add 2-3 drops of oil or sewing machine oil into the motor
•
bearings.
Store the fan in a cool and dry place.
