Loosen shift cable retainer and disconnect shift
cable from shift lever.

Select correct neutral switch bracket from kit:
• For serial number 8750338 and higher, use
neutral switch bracket, P/N 354619.
• For serial number 8750337 and lower, use
neutral switch bracket, P/N 354733.

Place #6 washers, on #6 screws. Apply Nut Lock
to screw threads and mount neutral switch to
bracket. Tighten screws to a torque of 7 to 10 in.
lbs (0.8 to 1.1 N·m).
Route switch wires behind bracket and secure
with two 4 inch (101 mm) tie straps as shown.

Turn propeller and shift engine into FORWARD
gear.
Use two M5 x 12 screws to install neutral switch
bracket to cylinder / crankcase. Leave screws
loose at this time.

Route neutral switch wiring and secure with 7
inch (178 mm) tie straps as shown.
