    I . I N T R O D U C T I O N SAFETY Welcome to Pride Mobility Products (Pride). Congratulations on the purchase of your new lift system. The lift system design combines the most advanced state-of-the-art components with modern, attractive styling.

Disposal and recycling - Contact your authorized Pride Provider for information on proper disposal of your Pride product and its packaging.     I I . S A F E T Y LIFTING CAPABILITIES Refer to the product specification sheet for maximum weight capacity. Under no circumstances should the lift system be made to exceed this weight limit. Subjecting the lift system to the strain of lifting more that it is designed to may cause it to fail, resulting in damage to the mobility product and/or injury to the lift operator.

Refer to the online compatibility database located at www.pridemobility.com for information concerning lift system/vehicle compatibility, or contact your authorized Pride Provider.

    I V. O P E R AT I O N POWER SWITCH OPERATION The lift systems is equipped with an ON/OFF swtich that INTERRUPTEUR enables/disables operation. Toggle the ON/OFF switch ON/OFF to the “I” position to turn the power on; to the “O” position to turn the power off.
  • Page 14 I V. O P E R AT I O N WARNING! Do not extend the lifting strap past the warning label located on it. 5. Ensure that the docking device is properly attached. 6. Operate the lift in the downward direction. The lift strap should drop straight down to the T-bar or docking device.

    V. T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G LIFT WILL NOT OPERATE ■ Check the circuit breaker reset button. Reset if BLOWN FUSE WORKING FUSE necessary. See figure 6. ■ If the circuit breaker reset button is not tripped, check the hardware fuse to see if it is blown.
  • Page 16 V. T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G MANUAL OVERRIDE OPERATION The lift system is equipped with a manual crank that serves as backup in the event of a power failure. Using the supplied tools, rotate the manual crank clockwise or counterclockwise to move the platform up or down.
