Fender Fortis F-12BT andF-15BT Powered Speakers
Fender's Fortis F-12BT and F-15BT powered speakers are active two-
way PA speakers with 12" and 15" woofers, respectively, designed to
o er excellent delity, features, reliability, durability and ease of setup
and use. Powerful and versatile, they also o er high-quality Bluetooth
compatibility for easy audio streaming, with special audio routing for
true stereo when using two enclosures, and switchable EQ tailored to
speci c applications. Along with user-friendly rear-panel controls and
features, three input channels and remarkably light weight, Fortis also
o ers:
1.75" titanium horn-loaded high-frequency compression driver
Dual built-in power ampli ers with active crossover and
temperature-controlled fan cooling
Universal power for 100V to 240V operation
Front-facing bi-color Power/Limit LED

CHANNEL1: Balanced line input with combination XLR/TRS input
connector, volume control and "High Level/Low Level" pushbut-
ton switch.

CHANNEL 2: Balanced line/mic input with combination XLR/
TRS input connector, volume control and "Line/Mic" pushbutton
switch.
C.
CHANNEL 3: Stereo Bluetooth and auxiliary input with volume
control, Bluetooth pairing button and blue status LED, and
3.5mm auxiliary input (interrupts Bluetooth signal when in use).
D.
EXTENSION AND LOOP OUTPUTS: Balanced extension output
(right) with XLR-3M male connector sends signal to opposite
side of stage for stereo sound. Balanced loop output (left) with
XLR-3M male connector duplicates internal mixer output and
sends signal to additional Fortis speakers or subwoofers on same
side of stage. In "Mono" (up) position, "Mono/Stereo" pushbut-
ton switch mixes left and right inputs and provides mono mix to
line output; in "Stereo" (down) position, it routes left channel to
internal ampli er and right channel to line output. Note that Bal-
anced Extension Output (right) follows operation of "Mono/Stereo"
pushbutton switch.

LIMIT LED: Activity indicator for driver/ampli er protection lim-
iter. Illuminates when system is nearing its upper performance
speci cations.

FRONT LED SWITCH: Three-position switch con gures bi-color
LED on the front of the enclosure to indicate power only ("power"
position) or power and limiting ("limit" position), or deactivates it
entirely ("o " position).

ruggedness and durability
G. EQ SWITCH: Three-position switch provides speci c EQ pro les,
including mild high-frequency boost for increased sparkle and
chime ("High" position), slight midrange boost for greater voice
clarity ("Mid" position) and attest speaker response ("Flat" posi-
tion).
H. LF SWITCH: Four-position EQ switch provides speci c low-end
tone shaping. Includes low-frequency boost ideal, for example, for
DJs who want to provide increased bass ("Boost" position); attest
speaker response ("Flat" position); low-frequency shelving cut that
compensates for naturally occurring bass boost when enclosure is
placed on its side and "coupled" to the oor ("Monitor" position);
and built-in high-pass lter that removes low frequencies such
that an external subwoofer can be added to the system to achieve
greater volume with overall balanced response ("Sub" position).

the voltage and frequency speci cations noted on the ampli er
information label, which is located inside the cabinet on the left
when viewing from the rear.
