Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED MANUAL (9) is illuminated.
During charging, the LED MANUAL (9) is illuminated and the charging status is shown in the charging progress
display (12). The individual LEDs for the respective charging status are illuminated subsequently.
When the FULL display is illuminated, the charger switches to conversion charging.
The charger has an overload switch-off in this charging mode. If the battery voltage drops below 4.5 v
and the charging current increases to over 6 A at the same time, the charger switches off (only the LED
POWER (1) is still illuminated).
h) Mode 8
In mode 8, the charger can be used as voltage supply of 12 v devices.
In this operating mode, a battery must not be connected to the charger.

Press the MODE button (2) for approx. three seconds until the LED SUPPLY (10) is illuminated.
If mode 8 is activated when no battery is connected, voltage is immediately available at the
charging output. In this operating mode, the "anti-spark protection" (see chapter "Protective
equipment" is deactivated, but the protection against incorrect polarity is still activated. when
connecting a 12 V load, sparks may be formed due to charge equalisation. Ensure you connect it
with the correct polarity when connecting 12 V loads.
The charger has an overload switch-off in this charging mode. If the voltage drops below 12 v, the charger
switches off automatically (only the LED POWER (1) is still illuminated).
i) Mode 9
Mode 9 is a special charging programme for 12 v lead-calcium batteries.
In this operating mode, a battery must be connected to the charger.
Never charge other batteries with this charging programme!
