Remove the stands

• Be sure to use at least 3 people for the work from this point onward.
Caution
• Be very careful when holding the Liquid Crystal Television at a slant or when lifting it up.

The LC-65GE1 (Separate type) is used as an example for the following explanation. The procedure is the same
for the LC-65D90U (Integrated type).
Lift up the Liquid Crystal Television and remove the stand.

While the stand is being held down, lift up the Liquid Crystal Television to remove it from the
stand.
*Remove the Liquid Crystal Television from the stand while tipping it backward slightly.
Temporarily place the Liquid Crystal Television on a cushion or soft material and install

the stand hole covers that are included with the Liquid Crystal Television.
Hold the Liquid Crystal Television at a slant and align the stand hole covers (included with the
Liquid Crystal Television) with the stand insertion locations.
Use the screws removed during Step 3 on page 5 (page 7 for the Integrated Type) to attach
the stand hole covers and speaker cables. (The integrated type does not have to attach the
speaker cables.)
