6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

6.1 OVERVIEW

6.2 INSTALLATION / FIXTURE

6.2.1 FIXTURE USING ADHESIVE PAD

Combine the fixture pedestal (Position 7 in the overview) and the housing (Position 3 in the overview), see Figure 2.

Look for a suitable location in your vehicle to position the fan heater. The fixture surface must be smooth and even (no grained
surfaces). Pay attention to the appropriate points in the safety precautions (section 4). Clean the surface and the underside of
the fixture pedestal to remove dust and grease. Pull the protective film from one side of the adhesive pad (Position 8 in the
overview). Place the adhesive pad onto the fixture pedestal, with the adhesive surface on the bottom, and push firmly into
place, see Figure 3.
Now remove the other protective film of the adhesive pad. Place the fan heater in the cleaned spot in your vehicle and press
firmly into place.

6.2.2 FIXTURE USING SCREWS

Combine the fixture pedestal (Position 7 in the overview) and the housing (Position 3 in the overview), see Figure 2. Look for
a suitable location in your vehicle to position the fan heater. Pay attention to the appropriate points in the safety precautions
(section 4). Mark the locations for the screws using the holes drilled in the fixture pedestal. Remove the fan heater. Drill small
holes for your screws in using the marked positions. Carefully separate the fixture pedestal from the housing again. Screw the
pedestal into place in the vehicle. Fit the housing back onto the pedestal.

6.3 CONNECTING THE FAN HEATER

Lay the connection cable so that it does not hinder you when driving.
Check whether the switch (Position 6 in the overview) is in position „0", see
Figure 4. Plug the connector into the 12 V vehicle socket. The fan heater is
now ready for operation.
