Conducting measurements
Measurements on screed, concrete and other construction
materials
Position the measurement ball of the sensor on the surface
you would like to measure at an angle of 90 degrees. Do not
apply additional pressure or excessive force.
1. After the measurement the measurement result remains
visible on the display until the next measurement.
Note:
A comparative measurement with the measuring needles of
the HPM touch pro unit can help to interpret the measure-
ment results. If the measurement result obtained with the
HPM touch pro unit is significantly lower than that obtained
with the Contact Check sensor, the surface is drier than the
core of the measured material. Compare the measurements
obtained with the Contact Check sensor with the maximum
permissible moisture levels specified in the technical data
sheets provided by the screed manufacturer. If the values
determined with the Contact Check sensor are higher, the
screed must cure further until its values fall below the rele-
vant values. Or the user must officially notify the client of this
concern prior to subsequent treatment.
Please note the measuring device's CM values cannot
replace traditional CM measurement methods.
