Product description
Whether at the campfire or on the home grill: With the practical cast-iron pans you prepare burgers,
sandwiches or waffles with unique roasting flavour in no time.
The two halves of the Irons are interlocked with a hook so that they will not accidentally open when
turned. The special properties of cast iron enable searing as well as the use of residual heat for baking
and cooking. Thanks to the long bars with wooden handles you keep sufficient distance to the fire or
grill and your Irons always lie well in hand. For easy cleaning you can detach the two halves of the pan
via the hinges, clean them separately and assemble once again.
The Petromax Sandwich Iron and Waffle Iron are also available with short bar.
Safety instructions
• Caution! Risk of burns! The Irons become hot when in use. Protect your hands with a heat-resistant
cloth, gloves or potholders.
• Always keep an eye on children and animals during use when they linger near the hot Irons as well
as the fireplace or grill.
• Please note that during cooking food fluids might trickle from the Irons and grease might cause
darting flames. Caution! Acute risk of burns!
• Do not pour any cold liquids such as water onto the hot surface, for the cast iron can crack or be
otherwise damaged.
• Do not lean over your Petromax Irons from above as soon as they are in use.
• Only place the Petromax Irons on heat-resistant surfaces while hot.
• Make sure that the Irons have been locked with the hook before turning.
