Operation
Dear Customer,
We thank you for purchasing the digital LED Luxmeter Testboy TV 335.
With this product, you have acquired an instrument that has been manufactured in accordance
with the present state-of-the-art technology. In order to maintain this condition and ensure safe
operation, you must observe these operating instructions!

Intended use

The digital LED luxmeter Testboy TV 335 luxmeter is a measuring instrument for accurate deter-
mination of the light intensity and incidence of light on a given surface. The measurement is made
by means of a photo element; the measurement result is displayed on the LC display in four
measuring ranges.
The voltage supply is provided by a 9 V alkaline battery, Type 6F22.
It is imperative to prevent direct contact with water and moisture, because the housing is not wa-
tertight! It is recommended to use a dry, lint-free cloth, the use of cleaning agents is forbidden.
Other use than previously described results in damage to the product. Furthermore, this is
associated with risks, e.g. short-circuit, fire etc. The complete product must not be
opened, modified or converted!

Safety notes

The warranty claim expires in cases of damages caused by failure to observe the instruc-
tions! We assume no liability for any resulting damage! We assume no liability for damag-
es to property or personal injury caused by improper handling or failure to observe the
safety instructions. Any warranty claim expires in such cases.
Unauthorised modification and/or changes to the instrument are not permitted, for reasons of
safety and approval (CE). The instrument is not a child's toy. Keep it away from children.
Do not subject the instrument to mechanical stresses, it is imperative to prevent contact with
moisture and fluids. The instrument must only be used outside in suitable weather or with appro-
priate protection.
The light sensor or instrument must not be strongly heated by the source of light. If the source of
light develops strong heat, maintain sufficient distance.
