4. Getting Started

• The headset is equipped with a rechargeable battery. The battery
must be fully charged before using the device for the first time.
• Ensure that the headset is switched off before charging it.
• Begin charging by connecting the included USB charging cable to
the charging socket (9) on the charging cradle and to the USB
connection of a PC/notebook. Then place the headset in the charging
cradle. Alternatively, you can charge the headset using a suitable
USB charger. Connect a USB charger to the charging socket on the
headset (6). Please refer to the operating instructions for the USB
charger used.
• The status LED (3) lights up constantly in red during the charging
process.
• Charging the battery fully may take up to 2 hours.
Warning
Do not use the headset while it is charging.
• When the battery is fully charged, the status LED (3) is lit blue.
• Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.
Note
If you have not used the item for a few month, it may take 15-30
minutes for the status LED (3) to red when charging.
5. Operation
Switching the headset on/off
• Turn On:
Switch on the headset using the on/off switch (5). You will hear
a short acoustic signal and a voice saying, 'Power on'; the LED
indicator (3) flashes.
• Turn Off:
Switch off the headset using the on/off switch (5). The LED
indicator (3) briefly lights up red; you will hear an acoustic signal
and a voice saying, 'Power off'.
The first time the device is turned on, pairing is automatically started
– see 5.1 Bluetooth
