Orientation of Valves
Looking at the VELOCETTE from the rear with the rear panel removed you will see four
valves, the two on the left (V1 and V2) should be ECC83/12AX7's and the two on the right
(V3 and V4) should be EL84/6BQ5's. For improved performance and reliability the
EL84/6BQ5's should be a matching pair.
If need should arise to replace any of the valves we recommend the following types:-
V1 and V2
V3 and V4
