- If the battery is hot, allow it to cool down before proceeding with charging.
- When the product is not used, it is recommended to charge the battery every 3 months.
4.4- Starting the machine
The tool is fitted with a safety switch to avoid unintentional start.
- Switching on: press the switch (2) of the front handle and the switch (4) of the rear handle with
both hands at the same time.
- Switching off: Release any one of the switches (2) or (4).
Warning! The cutting blades continue to move for a few seconds after the hedge trimmer is switched
off. Wait until the cutting blades come to a complete standstill before placing the machine down
Caution! Do not touch the moving blades.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens.
- The product is intended for cutting hedges, shrubs within the limits of its characteristics.
- This tool may not be used to do other things outside of the described scope in this manual.
- Do not use the machine for unsuitable purposes (for ex. for cutting wood ...). Do NOT operate on
damp or wet working area.
- The tool is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use (for ex.: in
public parks...).
5.2- Operation
Before any operation:
-- always visually inspect that the product does not show signs of use or damage
-- check that the screws, bolts and nuts are well tightened.
-- replace any used or damaged part, and tighten firmly the screws, bolts and nuts when needed.
Important - Before starting work
- Remove the blades sheath.
- Check the blades proper operation. The blades work in opposite direction and have two cutting
sides to provide greater cutting capacity and performance.
- Repeat several times the starting and stoppage of the machine to become familiar with it.
- Make trial work on small shrubs or hedges to become familiar with handling the machine.
1. Ensure that battery is charged, otherwise proceed with charging.
2. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
3. Clear working area off any objects likely to pose a hazard.
4. Inform persons to stay away from working area and machine while you are working.
5. Firmly hold tool with both hands, and always maintain a balanced and secure position.
6. Place blade above the hedge. Do not make sudden movements.
7. Press switches (2) and (4) to start operation.
8. Once work is finished, stop product by releasing one of the switch (2) or (4).
Note: do not put down product until the cutting blades have completely stopped moving.
9. Replace the blades sheath after use.
