10. Voice Message

The Voice message function allows you to leave a voice message of 15 seconds
maximum for another member of your family.
To record a message:
Press Voice message (key 14) and hold it down
Wait for generation of an audio signal before beginning to record
Speak 30 centimetres away from the alarm unit
Release the Voice message key when finished speaking.
When supervision is deactivated the alarm unit displays
message "New message".
To view a message, press and release the Voice message key. The visual signal
indicating presence of a message disappears when the message has been consulted
twice, but the message remains available for consultation.

11. Setup Menu

This menu is only accessible after entry of the administrator code and only when
supervision is off. The other users do not have access to this menu.
The setup menu includes seven submenus for customizing alarm unit operation and
viewing the event log.

1 System Test

This submenu allows you to perform an operational test on the detectors. Whenever a
detector is triggered, the alarm unit displays its name and status and generates an audio
signal.
