h. Turn on the laser (Fig.8)

Before proceeding to use the laser line system, ensure that the

understood.

Push the laser on/off switch down to
turn on the laser.
•
Push the laser on/off switch again to
turn off the laser. Always ensure the
laser beam is aimed at a sturdy work-
piece without reflective surfaces. i.e.
wood or rough coated surfaces are
acceptable.
•
Bright shiny reflective sheet steel or
the like is not suitable for laser use as
the reflective surface could direct the
beam back to the operator.
•
Only turn laser beam on when tool is
on the work-piece.
•
Mark the line of the cut on the work-
piece.
•
Adjust the pendulum level, bevel
angle and speed as required.
•
Rest the front edge of the base on the
work-piece.
•
Hold the tool firmly to control the
twisting of the tool.
•
To prolong the life of the tool never
overload it.
•
To start the jig saw, press the trigger
switch.
•
To stop the jig saw, release the trigger
switch.
