normal functioning when the spray gun lever is pressed. During the 40
seconds, of stand-by the water is allowed to recycle, with supply pres-
sure, in the by-pass circuit, but it is possible to easily and quickly
restart washing without overloading the motor with frequent start and
stop cycles. In addition, the timing of the "machine stop device" pro-
tects the pump since it prevents the seal gaskets from being damaged
by water that overheats due to excessively long recycling.
STOP
To stop the high pressure cleaner from functioning, it is necessary to:
• press the switch button to the "0" position;
• shut off the water supply;
• discharge the residual pressure in the circuit, keeping the water
jet lever pressed until the water jet finishes;
• lock the spray gun, to avoid any involuntary water action;
• disconnect the plug from the electricity socket.
WATER OUTPUT PRESSURE VARIATION
The pressure is calibrated at the nominal and maximum function-
ing value. Pressure and pump flow rate adjustment is obtained by act-
ing on the adjustment handle of the by-pass valve (see Fig. 5); rotating
it in an anti-clockwise direction causes an increase in the quantity of
water in recirculation (by-pass), with a consequent reduction in the
flow rate to the nozzle and therefore in work pressure; to return the
pressure to its maximum/nominal functioning value, rotate the handle
in a clockwise direction as far as the end travel, without forcing it.
WASHING WITH DETERGENT
Low
High
pressure
pressure
The injection of detergent product is carried out under low pres-
sure: to do this, after inserting the detergent intake pipe into a suitable
container (not supplied), containing the chemical substance, and with
the spray gun closed, it is necessary to rotate, in an anti-clockwise di-
rection, the adjustable nozzle head of the lance or, for model 200/30, the
handle positioned on the side of the double lance (see Fig. 6) and open
the tap positioned after the pressure adjustment valve; the quantity of
detergent can be pre-adjusted by means of the same tap (see Fig. 9). At
the end, again with the spray gun closed, it is necessary to rotate, in a
clockwise direction, the adjustable nozzle head of the lance or, for mod-
el 200/30, the handle positioned on the side of the double lance (see
Fig. 6) to restart normal supply under pressure. If use of the detergent
is suspended for a long time, remove the container, wash the filter in
water, and close the detergent tap.
To obtain effective washing, carefully spray the detergent, allow it
to act for a few minutes and, afterwards, thoroughly rinse with a high
pressure jet of water.
Attention
We recommend using only detergents specifically de-
signed for high pressure cleaners; contact your retailer
for advice concerning such products.
Attention
We recommend not using an excessive amount of deter-
gent in order to protect the environment; respect the
doses set out on the detergent package.
Attention
After use, rinse the machine's hydraulic circuit for at
least 2 minutes, keeping the lever of the spray gun held
down.

WASHING WITH DEVICE FOR HYDROSANDING (Optional Accessory)
By applying the device for hydrosanding to the high pressure
cleaner, it is possible to wash and clean surfaces covered by rust, paint
or hard incrustations.
The device for hydrosanding is easy to apply (see Fig. 7): simply
replace the standard lance with the lance for hydrosanding (1) and
place the sand intake pipe (2) in a suitable container (not supplied) (3),
taking care to use dry sand of a quality appropriate for this pupose
(quartz or silicon sand; contact your retailer) and allowing 30 mm of
pipe to protrude from the sand.
1. Lancel for hydrosanding
2. Sand intake pipe
3. Sand container (not supplied)
When starting up the high pressure cleaner, the sand (a) is aspirat-
ed, mixed with the water (b) and projected towards the surface to be
treated, freeing it from residues and incrustations.
HANDLING AND RECOVERY
Attention
Before moving the equipment it is necessary to:
• stop the machine in accordance with the indications
set out in the "STOP" paragraph;
• disconnect the electricity supply, removing the plug;
• shut off the water supply tap and unscrew the water in-
let pipe.
After coiling the electric cable and high pressure pipe on the ap-
propriate devices, take hold of the machine using the handle and make
it move on its wheels. By pressing on the handle it is possible to raise
the front wheels, thereby overcoming small obstacles; with the front
wheels raised, and by rotating the unit on its rear ones, it is possible to
orient the machine in the desired direction.
Attention
Never try to manually lift the high pressure cleaner: its
excessive weight could cause serious physical injury.
The machine must be stored in a protected location. Where it is
stored for a long period of time, it is necessary to completely empty the
water circuit (operrating the machine for a few seconds with the water
suppin off and with the spray gun on) and protect the machine from
dust. When functional once again, it is necessary to check that there
are no cracks or cuts in the hydraulic pipes.
PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FREEZING
During the winter season, the high pressure cleaner must not be
exposed to freezing, unless during normal functioning. We therefore
recommend, when operational activity has ceased, and before com-
pletely stopping the machine, closing the water supply tap and allowing
the high pressure cleaner to function until the hydraulic circuit is com-
pletely empty.
Where there are extended pauses at low temperature, we recom-
mend using an antifreeze product. After emptying the hydraulic circuit,
operate the high pressure cleaner, directly taking up the antifreeze liq-
uid through the water intake pipe and through the detergent intake pipe
until completely filling the hydraulic circuit.
Antifreeze liquid is a harmful product for the environ-
ment, and as a result it is important to follow the in-
structions set out on the product packaging.
