2.3 Residual risks

The following residual risks exist in relation to using the LED system:

WARNING!
Risk of injury due to foreseeable misuse!
Misuse of the LED system can lead to dangerous
situations and/or property damage.
– Never use the LED system in explosive atmospheres.
– Do not open components of the LED system.
– Never remove, strip or disconnect pre-assembled cables in delivery
state.
– Only use original Schlüter
– Only use the LED system in the manner described in these operating
instructions.
– Only use LED modules (combination of LED tube and the appropri-
ate mounting profile). Do not use LED tubes without the appropriate
mounting profile.
– Never install the LED system in areas that are completely under water,
be it continuously or temporarily (e.g. swimming pool lighting).
WARNING!
Danger to life due to overtemperature or moisture at
the power supply!
If the power supply is exposed to temperatures in excess of 45 °C or to
humidity, malfunctions may cause fatal electric shocks.
– Never store or use the power supply at temperatures in excess of 45 °C.
– Only install and use the power supply in accordance with the applica-
ble local regulations.
– Never expose the power supply to direct moisture penetration (e.g.
splash water).
