2 - Multimedia interface description

2.1 - Characteristics

The Multimedia Interface with its radio remote control allows to connect to the My Home Legrand
Legrand system several multimedia devices, such as the Media Center, a DVD Player, MP3 Player,
Stereo system, or TV, and use them both as a multimedia source/receiver and a control unit for
the entire home automation system. For example, by connecting the TV to the A/V OUT connec-
tor and the "SCS 2 wire Bus" to the SCS AV/ IN connector it is possible to interact with a menu
on the TV and control all My Home Legrand systems from the TV using the Multimedia Interface
remote control.
It is also possible to connect the Multimedia Interface to an Ethernet network and use USB acces-
sories (such as memories, etc.) through the USB Master connector. The device can be configured
and updated (Firmware) from a PC through a serial RS–232 connector or a USB Slave connector.
The Multimedia Interface cannot be used in the vertical position.
