in this manual and in the engine manual.
- Before performing any repair or maintenance on the machine,
stop the machine and turn off the engine.
- If the protective casings are removed, make sure they are
correctly restored before using the machine again.
- Respect the compliance of the recommended oils. Keep lubri-
cants out of the reach of children. Carefully read the warnings
and precautions indicated on the lubricant containers. After
use, thoroughly wash thoroughly. Treat lubricants used in
accordance with the provisions of anti-pollution law.
- At the end of the maintenance and repair, before restarting
the machine, make sure that the work is completed, the safety
devices are reactivated and guards are replaced.
- During maintenance and repair, you are required to wear
protective clothing, cut-resistant gloves, sturdy and anti-crush
shoes.
- Comply with the laws in force in the country where the machi-
ne is used, regarding the use and disposal of products used
for cleaning and maintenance. Always dispose of hazardous
waste through the appropriate authorized firms with release
of the receipt of disposal.
- During maintenance works, do not operate the machine in
poorly ventilated rooms: the exhaust fumes are harmful to
health.
- SPARE PARTS MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS DE-
FINED BY THE MANUFACTURER. USE ONLY ORIGINAL
SPARE PARTS.
2.4 SAFETY DURING THE USE OF PLANT
PROTECTION PRODUCTS
ALL PESTICIDES OR HERBICIDES CAN BE HARMFUL TO
THE MAN AND TO THE ENVIRONMENT IF USED INCOR-
RECTLY OR IN AN UNINTENTIONAL WAY.
THEREFORE, THE USE OF SUCH PRODUCTS IS MANDA-
TORY, ONLY TO PEOPLE APPROPRIATELY TRAINED AND
EQUIPPED WITH A SPECIFIC LICENSE.
DANGER: THE OPERATOR MUST PAY ATTEN-

PRODUCTS AND VARIOUS MIXTURES. THE
OPERATOR MUST ALSO FOLLOW THE INSTRUC-
TIONS GIVEN IN THE INFORMATION TECHNICAL
SHEETS PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCTS.

2.4.1 PRECAUTIONS DURING THE USE OF PLANT
PROTECTION PRODUCTS
- Accurately measure the doses of the plant protection products
to be placed in the product tank.
- Make sure that the chemicals used are compatible with the
manufacture materials of the atomizer system.
- The storage of plant protection products must take place in
dedicated, adequately ventilated rooms, provided with a clear
indication of the dangerousness of the stored substances and
inaccessible to minors, animals and non-competent person-
nel. These rooms must not be used for storing foodstuffs.
- Before use, carefully read the safety warnings on the packa-
ging of plant protection products. Take precautions for use
appropriate to the danger of the product. Do not exceed the
maximum recommended concentrations.
- Do not mix different products whose compatibility is not
known.
- In case of contact with the skin, eyes or mucous membranes,
wash immediately with water, then immediately contact a
doctor, taking with you the product packaging.
- Avoid inhaling the vapors of the plant protection products and
always use the protective mask.
- Avoid eating, drinking or smoking while handling dangerous
plant protection products.
- Carefully wash all clothing that comes into contact with the
chemical mixture before using it again, whenever it's pure or
diluted.
- Carefully wash the plant protection product containers using
the appropriate accessories and rinsing several times with
water. Washing liquids can be used for treatment.
- Dispose of the washed containers and send them to the
appropriate collection centers never leaving them in the
environment and not reusing them for any other purpose.
It is good practice to break the can by making a hole in the
bottom.
- It is advisable to clean the atomizer in the same place where
the fills are performed or in a site where the water is collected
in a disposal pit.
- Avoid uncontrolled discharge of mixing residues into wa-
terways, sewers and public areas.
Wear the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
during the operational phases:
- Gloves in polyethylene or polyvinyl.
- Breathable suits in special high resistance material.
- Rubber boots or the like.
