Maintenance and cleaning
Filters - general informations
The maintenance for the correct functioning of the device essentially consists of replacing the filters. These
are the most important component for the effectiveness of air purification.
CAUTION: in order to safely carry out any internal maintenance work on the device, the use of suitable PPE
(Individual Protection Devices) (at least mask and gloves) is mandatory. The device has a sticker which warn of
the need to use protective elements before handling the unit. Once the filter protection has been removed, it
must be repositioned in the filter housing.
CAUTION: Failure to use PPE exposes you to risks related to possible contact/aspiration of pathogens pre-
viously collected in filters.
The device is supplied with the relevant certificates for HEPA H14 filters.
CAUTION: do not use similar or theoretically equivalent filters without prior consultation and authorisation
from the manufacturer. In case of use of unauthorised filters for replacement, the original filtration capacity of
the appliance is not guaranteed.
Filter service life
The following details the service life of the three types of filters that equip the device, both for "clean"
environments (e.g. offices, hospitals, etc.) and "dirty" environments (e.g. warehouses, industrial buildings, etc.):
prefilter: clean environment: 4/6 months (4000 h), dirty environment: 2/4 months (2000 h);
ISO ePM1 70% (F7) filter: "clean" environments: 4/6 months (4,000 h);"dirty" environments: 2/4 months (2,000 h);
high efficiency HEPA H14 absolute filter (if equipped with pre-filter): clean environment: 10/12 months (8,000
h), "dirty" environments: 8/10 months (4,000 h).
CAUTION: the service life of the filters can be reduced by several factors such as: quality of the air to be
purified, air flow, correct maintenance of the pre-filter.
