PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not add more water than up to the MAX mark as water may spray out of the pour-
ing spout during the boiling process otherwise.
■ Fill the kettle at least up to the MIN mark with water! The device switches off auto-
matically when there is not suffi cient water in the water kettle.
■ Each time before boiling, ensure that the lid is properly closed and that the On/Off
switch is not jammed. The device only switches off automatically, when the lid is
closed and the On/Off switch is not jammed.
1. Place the base station on a dry, level, solid, water and heat-resistant surface and
insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket.
2. Take the kettle off the base station. Open it by pushing the button on the lid and fi ll
the water kettle with drinking water. Make sure that the water level is between the
MIN and MAX marks. If there is not enough water in the kettle, the device will deac-
tivate before completing the boiling process; if it is fi lled past the MAX mark, water
may spray out during the boiling process.
3. Close the lid and place the kettle on the base station.
4. Set the On/Off switch of the kettle to position I (ON). The device will turn on and
the control light will illuminate. You can interrupt the boiling process at any time by
setting the On/Off switch to position 0 (OFF).
5. The kettle automatically deactivates once the water has boiled. The On/Off switch
sets automatically to position 0 (OFF) and the control light switches off.
6. Remove the power plug from the socket and take the kettle off of the base station
and carefully pour the water into a suitable container. Keep the lid closed when
pouring out the water.
If not in use, the kettle may be stored on the base station. However, be sure to pull the
mains plug out of the socket.

PLEASE NOTE!
■ When cleaning, do not use any aggressive, scouring or toxic cleaners.
■ Allow the device to cool off before cleaning.
• Wipe the device off from the outside with a clean, damp cloth.
• Keep the device in a ready-to-operate state. You should remove limescale from
water on a regular basis and according to the water quality in your region and the
frequency of use. Use a decalcifi er for this. Follow the instructions of the decalcifi er
when decalcifying the kettle.
