Disconnect the saw from the
WARNING
power source before making
any assembly, adjustments or changing ac-
cessories. Such preventive safety measures re-
duce the risk of starting the tool accidentally .
FINE-ADJUST THE DISTANCE BE-
TWEEN THE CUT-OFF WHEEL AND
THE SLOT IN THE SKID PLATE
1. Set the saw upside down on a flat surface
with the diamond wheel at its maximum cut-
ting depth (depth adjustment lever rests flush
against the depth stop) .
2. Make fine adjustment by turning the front and
rear knob to center the cut-off wheel in the
slot of the skid plate until that the gaps on
both sides are equal (Fig . 10) .
IMPORTANT: Verify the wheel alignment within
the slot every time a new diamond wheel and/or
skid plate are installed or this attachment is re-
moved for cleaning. Repeat the steps above if
adjustment is required .
