Setting the time
Pull the crown out to position 2. Turn
the crown forwards ( ) to advance
the hands past midnight when the cal-
endar changes. Continue to advance
the hands to the right time, going past
noon if it is in the afternoon. For accu-
rate time-setting, ensure that the last
operation is done with the hands mov-
ing clockwise. Then push the crown
back to position 1 and give it a turn
backwards ( ) to ensure that it
rotates freely.
Setting the year and the month –
pushpiece I,
the date – pushpiece II,
the day – pushpiece III
The leap-year indicator makes one
complete revolution every four years.
Pushpiece I activates the year and the
month simultaneously.
Check that the date indicator
hand C is not at 28 - 31. Then
press pushpiece I with the gold sty-
lus to set the leap-year indicator cor-
rectly (in a leap year: indicator A in
zone «B», in an ordinary year: indi-
cator A in zone «1», «2» or «3».)
Then continue to press pushpiece I
with the stylus to set the correct
month. Then press pushpiece II to set
the date (1-31).
Finally, press pushpiece III with the
stylus to set the day of the week.
