CONNECTION DIAGRAM FOR FLAME ROD CURRENT
FOR FLAME RECTIFICATION SYSTEMS (SP-MODELS)
MEANS OF PROVING ADEQUATE GROUNDING AREA
Theproperflame-rod-to-ground-arearatiocannot
alwaysbedeterminedbyvisualexaminationor
physicalmeasurement.Apositivemeansofchecking
the installation is the measurement of the flame rod
currentunderactualfiringconditions.Itisdefinitely
recommended that the installer measure the current
flow between the lead of the flame rod unit and the
terminalinthecontrolterminalboard(seeFigure3).
