• The HEPA filter is saturated: tap the HEPA filter
(see page 16 paragraph 3). If the HEPA filter is
damaged, change it (Ref. ZR 0008).
If the suction of your vacuum cleaner has
dropped, it makes a noise and whistles
• An accessory, the tube, the flexible tube or the
pipe between the suction inlet (11) and the
separator are partially blocked: unblock them.
• If the dust collector is full, empty it and wash
it.
• The separator cover is not correctly in place.
Close the separator cover correctly
• The
dust
compartment

• The filtration system is saturated, refer to
page 16, paragraphs 2 and 3. If the HEPA filter
is damaged, change it (ref. ZR 0008)
• The separator is blocked. Remove the cover
(fig.19)
and clean the separator filter grill.
• If the mechanical power control* of the power
nozzle is open, close it.
If the separator is full
• The dust accumulates in the separator.
Check that there is nothing blocking the
pipe between the separator and dust
compartment.
• The dust compartment inlet is blocked.
Remove the dust compartment and empty it.
Clean the dust compartment seal (14).

If the suction is weak
• There is an air leak. Check that the dust
compartment is locked. Check that the filter
system is fitted.
• The black foam filter and the filter HEPA are
saturated, refer to page 16 paragraphs 2 and 3
for cleaning instructions. If the HEPA filter is
damaged, change it (Ref. ZR 0008). If the
problem persists after cleaning the filter
system, take your vacuum cleaner to your
nearest Rowenta Approved Service Centre.

If the floor noozle is hard to move around
• Open the mechanical power control* of the
power nozzle.
If the power cord does not rewind completely
• The power cord is slow in re-entering its
housing. Pull the cord back out and press on
the automatic cord rewinder pedal.
If problems persist, take your vacuum cleaner
to the nearest Rowenta approved Service
Center (see list of approved Service Centers) or
contact the Rowenta customer.
• Read the instructions for use carefully before
using your appliance for the first time: any
use which does not conform to these
instructions will absolve Rowenta from any
liability.
