Adjusting the telescopic extension elements:
1. Original position: the locking clamp [C] is engaged.
2. Pull out the locking clamp [C] and place it on the
ladder's side rail by turning it slightly. The locking
opening is free, and the ladder is unlocked.
The telescopic extension element [A-1] can now be
moved into the desired position.
3. The telescopic extension element [A-1] then audibly
clicks into place automatically. The ladder is locked,
and the locking clamp [C] is engaged.
This procedure is repeated once again to bring it into
another set-up position.
5.4 Setting up and using the
extending ladder
A) Use as a stepladder:
The ladder's feet [B] must stand securely and firmly
on the ground. The safety joints [B] and locking
clamps [C] must be locked.
B) Use as a single ladder:
The ladder must stand securely on the ground and be
leaning against a flat and secure surface. The safety
joints [B] and locking clamps [C] must be locked.
Secure single ladders before using, e.g. tie down to
ensure stability.
C) Storage:
The extending ladder's individual elements can
be folded together and pushed in for storage and
transport.
The safety joints [B] and locking clamps [C] must
be locked.
