03:CAL.ERROR:
HUMIDITY
03:CAL.ERROR:
TEMPERATURE
In the following table you will find possible faults which may occur during
operation of the Novasina AW SPRINT, together with their cause and
remedy.
Cause
Mains cable not plugged in.
No mains voltage present.
Instrument fuse defective.
Because of ageing the humidity
sensor deviates from its original
setpoint.
Measuring cell defective.
Note: In most cases the reference
point 53% can no longer be cali-
brated first.
Cause
Function not available, since the RS232
interface is configured to the PC.
Calibration menu not enabled.
Temperature measurement range ex-
ceeded or value obtained falls short of it
(-20...80°C).
Sensor not connected or defective.
Humidity outside the exceptable range.
Temperature range not permissible for
calibration.
Remedy
Plug in mains cable.
Have mains tested.
Replace instrument fuse according
to chapter 7.4 (fuse type: see also
chapter 10 "Specifications").
Check calibration values of the hu-
midity reference points with the hu-
midity standards, and recalibrate
the instrument if necessary (see
chapter 5).
Replace measuring cell (see chap-
ter 7.2).
Note: If a chemical filter is used it
should also be replaced when the
measuring cell is replaced.
Remedy
Configure the interface for the printer
output (see chapter 5.5).
Enable calibration menu with "02:Ena-
ble cal." (see chapter 5.3).
Connect or replace sensor.
Check that the humidity standard is in
order. Try to carry out a basic calibration
according to chapter 5.3.3. Replace sen-
sor if necessary.
Bring temperature into the permitted
range (15...30°C) and repeat calibra-
tion.
