S tart the engine and run it until the tank and
fuel line are completely empty and the engine
stalls.
Please change the oil after an operation time
of 20, respectively 50 hours. For this, remove
the old oil from the warm engine and refill with
new oil.
Remove spark plug (Fig. M / Pos. M1). Fill
about 20 ml of oil into the cylinder using an oil
can. Pull the pull cord slowly, so that the oil
protects the cylinder from the inside. Screw the
spark plug back in.
Clean the entire appliance to protect the paint.
Store the appliance in a well ventilated area.
Preparing the equipment
for transport
E mpty the petrol tank using a petrol suction
pump.
A lways let the engine run until it has used up
the remainder of petrol in the tank.
E mpty the engine oil from the warm engine.
R emove the spark plug boot (Fig. L) from the
spark plug.
S ecure the equipment, e.g. with straps, against
shifting.

Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent
it from being damaged in transit. The raw materials
in this packaging can be reused or recycled. The

equipment and its accessories are made of various
types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defec-
tive components must be disposed of as special
waste. Ask your dealer or your local council.

concerning old electric and electronic equipment
and its implementation in national laws, old electric
power tools have to be separated from other waste
and disposed of in an environment-friendly fashion,
e.g. by taking to a recycling depot.

Instead of returning the equipment to the manufac-
turer, the owner of the electrical equipment is obliged
to ensure that the equipment is properly disposed
of if he abandons ownership. The old equipment
can be returned to a suitable collection point, that
will dispose of the equipment in accordance with
the national recycling and waste disposal regula-
tions. This does not apply to any accessories or
aids without electrical components supplied with
the old equipment.
