 BEFORE STARTING THE APPLIANCE
o
After you have filled the kettle do not forget to close the lid, otherwise the kettle will not
turn off automatically after boiling. The amount of water in the kettle must always be
between the "Min" and "Max" level.
o
Place the kettle on the base and turn it on.
o
As soon as the water has boiled, the kettle will turn off automatically. But you can turn the
appliance off by hand at any time.
o
CAUTION: The outside of the kettle gets very hot. Only use the handle to pick up the kettle.

Once the kettle has switched off automatically, the boiled water must be
poured out in order to be able to use the kettle to boil some more water after
around 15 to 20 seconds. The kettle will not switch on during this time.
 DESCALING
o
The kettle should be descaled on a regular basis depending on how hard the water supply
is. To do this use standard, environmentally friendly descaling products. First fill it with
water and then a small dose of the descaling product. Never heat up the solution,
otherwise it will foam over. After descaling, rinse the kettle out thoroughly with clean
water.
 CLEANING AND CARE
o
Pull out the plug before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle and its base in water. Rinse the
kettle out from time to time. Only wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not
use any sharp and abrasive cleaning agents.
 DISPOSAL
o
For proper disposal, the unit is to return to the dealer, the service agent or the
company Rotel AG.
