CLEANING AND TESTING THE FUEL TANK FILTER
The fuel tank is equipped with a filter. This is located under the fuel tank cap.
To clean, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the fuel cap (1) and filter (2).
2. Clean the filter with gasoline.
3. Dry the filter and install it.
4. Install the fuel cap. Make sure the fuel cap is tight.
FUEL FILTER
The fuel filter is connected to the fuel tap.
To clean the filter:
1. Remove the cover screws on the side where the fuel tap is located.
2. Remove the hose from the tank by loosening the clamp screw.
3. Drain the fuel with the tap tap in the "open" (I) position.
4. Unscrew the nut holding the fuel tap.
5. Pull out the tap and filter and clean it with gasoline.
6. Dry the filter and replace it in the tank.
7. Install hose and clamp and check for leaks.
8. Install the cover and tighten the screws.
