ATTENTION: Generator performance is reduced when temperature, humidity and altitude are
higher than normal atmospheric conditions. In addition, the load must be reduced when used in a
confined area, as the cooling of the generator is affected.
ENGINE SHUTDOWN
•
If connected, set the economic control switch (ESC) to "OFF" mode.
•
Disconnect all electrical devices.
•
Set the motor switch to the "STOP"
•
Turn the fuel tap to the "OFF" position.
CONNECTION OF ALTERNATING CURRENT (AC)
CHECK POINTS BEFORE COMMISSIONING
•
Make sure all electrical devices, including lines and plug connections, are in good condition before connecting
them to the generator.
•
Make sure the total load is within the nominal output of the generator.
•
Make sure that the connected load current is within the rated current of the socket.
•
Be sure to ground the generator when the electrical device is grounded.
NOTE: The Economic Control Switch (ECS) must be set to "OFF" to increase the engine speed at
nominal revolutions. If the generator is connected to multiple electrical loads, please remember to
first connect the one with the highest starting current, and finally connect the one with the lowest
starting current.
CONNECTING THE DEVICES TO THE GENERATOR
1.
Set ECS to "ON".
2.
Plug the device into an AC outlet.
3.
Make sure the AC output indicator is lit.
4.
Turn on the electrical device.
NOTE: This socket can be exposed to a continuous load of 1800 W and temporarily for a maximum
of 5 minutes to a load of 2000 W.
ATTENTION: Do not connect the generator to the mains, this could damage the generator.
DISCONNECTION DUE TO OVERLOAD
An overload has occurred if the output indicator light goes out and the overload indicator lights red.
If this happens, reduce the power level used.
ATTENTION: If an overload occurs, make sure that the power consumed does not exceed the
maximum power of the generator and that faulty electrical appliances are not connected.
