16. The appliance is not designed for outdoor use. The appliance
must not come into contact with rain. Do not use in vehicles
or on boats.
17. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use or unattended, and
before cleaning. We recommend the use of a residual current
device (RCD safety switch) to ensure additional protection
during the use of electrical appliances. It is advisable to use a
safety switch with a rated residual operating current of 30 mA

maximum. For professional advice consult an electrician.
18. Incorrect use may cause injury!
19. Never reach for an appliance that has fallen into water or other
liquids. Always pull the plug before removing it. Do not start
using it again before having it checked for functionality and
safety by Solis or a service centre authorized by Solis.
20. Never place the appliance so that it might fall into water or,
on its outside, come into contact with water or another liquid.
21. Never submerge the appliance, the outside of the water tub or
parts of the appliance like power cord or power plug in water
or bring them into contact with water resp. other liquids.
22. Place the appliance so that it is never exposed to direct sun-
light.
23. Never insert any objects or tool into appliance openings. The
appliance may become damaged – danger of electric shock!
24. Before adding or removing parts, always switch the appliance
off, pull the power plug and empty the water out of the water
tub.
25. Never use the appliance without water. Caution: Only remove
the water tank while the appliance is switched off. Only switch
the appliance on once the water-filled tank is inserted and the
appliance is correctly reassembled.
26. Only use fresh, hand warm tap water to fill the water tank
(10°C to max. 30°C). It is best to fill the water tank completely
with water. Under no circumstances add additives like
essential oils or perfumes to the water.

27. Do not shake or move the appliance while it is in use. Never
replace the water-filled, switched-on appliance! Before moving
the appliance, you should switch it off, pull the plug and drain
the water tub. Before moving the appliance, you should switch

28. Only use the appliance as described in this manual. Only use
with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by
Solis, incorrect accessories or misuse can lead to damage of the
appliance, fire, electric shock or personal damage.
29. Never use the appliance with an external timer switch or
remote control.
30. The appliance is only suited for household use and not for
commercial use.
31. Remove and discard all packaging materials and potential
stickers or labels (except for the type plate) before using the
appliance for the first time.
32. Check your Airwasher Qubic before every use and make sure
that the appliance, the power cord and plug are undamaged.
33. To prevent electric shock, do not use the appliance if cord or
power plug are damaged or if the appliance has other faults,
has fallen down resp. is damaged in any other way or is leaking
water. Never attempt repairs yourself but take the appliance
to Solis or a service centre authorized by Solis in order to get it
inspected, repaired or mechanically and electrically maintained,
in order to avoid a hazard.
34. People with limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities as
well as unknowing or inexperienced people and children must
not use the Airwasher except when supervised or thoroughly
instructed on how to use the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Additionally, they must be aware of the dangers
arising from the appliance and know how to operate it safely.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be done
by unsupervised children. Under no circumstances must the
