How to prevent it
Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry, or anything that may
get caught or tangled when using tool.
Remove any jewelry which may be caught by the tool.
Always keep hands and body parts away from moving
parts.
Always wear properly fitted clothing and other properly
fitted safety equipment when using this tool.
How to prevent it
Keep the working part of the tool away from hands and
body.
Understand the tool's limitations.
Read and understand instruction manual.
Make sure hands are kept away from sockets/accessories
during tool use.
When loosening fasteners first ensure that there is
sufficient clearance behind the tool to avoid hand
entrapment. The tool will move away from the threaded
joint as the nut/bolt is loosened and rides up the thread,
moving the tool with it.
How to prevent it
Never use air tools where they may come in contact with
energized electrical wiring.
Thoroughly investigate workpieces and work areas for
possible hidden wiring before performing work.
