Operation; Stand Alone- Operation; Dmx-Controlled Operation - EuroLite LED ML-56 Mode D'emploi

Caution: At the last fixture, the DMX-cable has to be terminated with a terminator. Solder a 120 resistor
between Signal (–) and Signal (+) into a 3-pin XLR-plug and plug it in the DMX-output of the last fixture.

OPERATION

The device has two operating modes. It can be operated in Stand Alone-mode via DIP Switches or it can be
run in DMX-controlled mode.
After connecting the Spot to the mains, the EUROLITE LED ML-56 Spot starts running.

STAND ALONE- OPERATION

You can do without a controller as the LED ML-56 Spot features a built-in microphone, which provides
automatic sound control.
Static Illumination
If the spot is used for a static beam, set dip switches 9 and 10 to ON.
You can control the LEDs' brightness via the dip switches 1-4.
Strobe
In order to activate the strobe function, you can additionally set dip switches 5 – 8 to ON, depending upon
the desired flash frequency.
Sound Control
In order to select Sound Control, set dip switch 10 to ON and dip switch 9 to OFF.
Dip switches 1 – 4 and 5 – 8 have no function.
Adjust the sensivity via the rotary-control.
Master/Slave-operation
The master/slave-operation enables that up to 24 devices can be synchronized and controlled by one
master-device.
On the rear of the ML-56 you can find an XLR-jack (DMX Out) and an XLR-plug (DMX In), which can be
used for connecting several devices.
Choose the device which is to control the effects. This device then works as master-device and controls all
other slave-devices, which are to be connected to the master-device via a balanced microphone lead.
Connect the DMX OUT-jack with the DMX IN-plug of the next device.
In order to select Master/Slave Mode, set dip switch 10 on the Master device to ON.
You do not have to set a DMX starting address on the Slave devices. However, dip 10 has to be set to OFF.

DMX-CONTROLLED OPERATION

You can control the projectors individually via your DMX-controller. Every DMX-channel has a different
occupation with different features.
