5.5 Installing an accessory tool
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to wrong accessory tool!
▶ Do not use worn or damaged accessory tools.
1. Clean the connection end of the accessory tool.
2. Push the accessory tool fully on to the chuck.
3. Check that the accessory tool is held correctly.
5.6 Removing the accessory tool
CAUTION
Risk of injury by the accessory tool! The accessory tool might be hot or
have sharp edges.
▶ Wear protective gloves when changing the accessory tool.
▶ Pull the accessory tool off the square drive.
5.7 Installing/removing friction ring and O-ring
1. Using suitable pliers, remove the worn/damaged friction ring and the
O-ring.
2. Seat the new O-ring in the groove in the chuck.
3. Seat the friction ring in the groove in the chuck.
4. Make sure that the accessory tool is securely installed in the chuck.
5.8 Selecting mode
▶ Repeatedly press the mode selector until the mode indicator shows the
mode you want to use.

6.1 Setting forward or reverse rotation
▶ Set the forward/reverse switch to the desired direction of rotation.
▶ An interlock prevents switching while the motor is running.
▶ The control switch is locked when the forward/reverse switch is in
the middle position (switch-on interlock).
